The other morning, as I was browsing through support tickets, I came across this one question: “How do you plot pivot points in MT4? Can I trade using my iPhone?”

See, I know what an iPhone is and how it works. I can even tell you how to connect your MT4 account to MT4Pips.com. But asking me how to plot pivot points… Yeaaaah. I can try to answer that but don’t blame me if I end up botching your trades! I’m Gizmo Girl, mate. What I do is help you with your site-related technical concerns.

So here’s a quick background on today’s main man.

TheGeekKnows, after suffering three forex margin calls, decided to embark on a mission to share to as many people as possible what success in forex really means. That basically meant he had to have a website, social media presence and super active participation in forex sites like (yep you guessed it right!) AskPips.com. Okay, enough about my introduction! I should let him tell you the rest of his story!

1. Where are you from and how did you get into forex trading?

I am currently living in Singapore. I happened to chance upon forex trading as my business partners were all into it.

2. What was your profession before you started trading? Do you trade full-time or part-time?

I am working in the financial industry and is currently trading part-time.

3. How did you discover AskPips.com and how long have you been using it?

I am a fan of the Pips series Been around for sometime now

4. Which forex question was your favourite on AskPips.com? Why?

Basically any question about how one can find success in forex. I have been through this phrase before and I always love an opportunity to share with the new folks in town that there is NO easy way to success. This is coming from someone who had suffered three margin calls before. Ouch!

5. Who’s the most interesting member on AskPips.com? Why?

While I do not have any particular member in mind, I always find the new folks interesting. Why so? Some of them insist on a "Holy Grail" to instant forex success and hence I think it will be great if I manage to show them the "light"

6. Have you tried using a question-and-answer-based website in the past? If so, what site was that?

Yes. I use Yahoo Answers too.

7. If you were to talk to a new user on AskPips.com, what advice would you give him?

While most of the advices are definitely great, evaluate all learning and understand that one size doesn’t fit all.

8. Would you recommend AskPips.com to other traders? Why?

Definitely! With a cool and friendly crew, helpful participants and considering that it is F R E E. Where else would you want to be?

9. Do you think AskPips.com has helped you with your forex trading? How?

Absolutely, I am exposed to other ideas by reading the answers and it helps to sharpen my edge.
